Flexible work

Daywork on the water

Short notice, single day or a few weeks — the Velvet Ocean daywork pool connects crew and employers for flexible engagements.

In short

Daywork is short-term yacht work — a single day, a delivery passage, or a few weeks — typically used between permanent contracts or for extra hands during a busy charter period. On Velvet Ocean Crew, crew mark themselves "Daywork available" in their marina and receive direct notifications when a matching request is posted nearby.
